About us

We are a small, newly started Swedish company on a mission to revolutionize the jewelry industry and promote sustainability. We envision a future where fashion and sustainability go hand in hand, and no one should be forced to choose between the two. We believe that rings can be more than just things; it can be a symbol of conscious choices and positive impact. With this vision in mind, we strive to redefine the notion of jewelry by offering sustainable alternatives that are both fashionable and environmentally responsible.

How we work with sustainability

Our company was built from the ground up on a mission of recycling and upcycling, so we value every step in the process to ensure it is as sustainable as possible.

We make our rings with

100% recycled plastic

Our products are made by 100% recycled plastic waste that we locally source in a partnership with Triller and Västerängens farm which we are greatly thankful for.

 

We work with

Low waste production

Producing without any waste is nearly impossible, but we do our best to minimize it. We achieve this by developing our own machines and reusing waste materials.

 

Our Packeging is

Eco friendly

We make our own box inserts by collecting packaging waste from other products and then stamping out our own design. Check to see if there is any interesting print on the back of yours! The rest of our packaging is also FSC-certified and ECO-marked.

 

The name SOLUS

The name Solus comes from Latin, meaning "the only one." This signifies that each ring we create features a unique pattern found exclusively on that ring.

Launch - November 8

After months of hard work, we proudly launched Solus on November 8 with our first batch of handcrafted rings. Thanks to our engaged TikTok community, our sales started to take off, and we couldn’t be more excited!

BEYOND THE CLASSROOM

Our dedication to Solus and our commitment to sustainability truly paid off, earning us several awards—including second place for Best Youth Enterprise in Sweden. This recognition confirmed that Solus was meant to be more than just a school project.

Expanding Horizons

We started running the company outside our school and began developing new products, machines, and colors. By combining these efforts with our social media, we reached a global audience.

A NEW BEGINNING

We are continuing our journey with a fresh rebrand that unlocks new possibilities and allows us to reach a broader audience. In the coming year, we will further innovate our recycling initiatives and develop even more exciting products.
